KidZ WorkZ has four programmes:

KidZ KluB
KidZ UnlimiteD
KidZ HolZ
4F’s

KidZ KluB

KidZ KluB meets weekly during term time. Each Saturday (unless there is a 4F’s on) we get together in the parish community hall for dance, songs, games, cooking, crafts, DVD and much, much more. Each week is different and we always have a really great turn out. KidZ KluB is our weekly children’s service lead by Brad, Bev, Hugh, Judy and Helen.

KidZ UnlimiteD

KidZ UnlimiteD is our weekly “Sunday school”. KidZ UnlimiteD starts in with the adults in the 10am service at St Matthew’s. After we lead the opening praise song in the praise bracket we move across to the parish community hall. We have our own praise and worship, letters to God, teaching, craft and work sheets. We learn about the stories from the Bible and we also learn about the thoughts and principles behind each story. In January 2011 we had two regular children – now we have 12. God is doing great things!

KidZ HolZ

KidZ HolZ is our school holiday programme. During the April, July and October holidays we run a one week programme, Monday to Friday, from 10am – 12.30pm. In 2011 we also held a programme in January.  

Programme themes this year -

• Wild Wild West,
• Jungle Juice,
• Atlantis and
• Chuggersville.

We have dance, songs, play, puppets, memory verse, quizzes, DVD, games, craft, morning tea, worksheets, competitions, give aways, a funky family fun night, and much, much more.

4F’s

4F’s is: Free Family Fun & Food. This is our all age/family service held once a month. It is a great time had by all and runs from 3pm – 5.30pm finishing with a free dinner at the end. We spend the full time focusing on one story from the Bible. We have done the Parable of the Sower, The firey furnace and the baptism of Jesus. In 2011 we are meeting on the first Saturday of the month. From January 2012 onwards we will be meeting on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Super Songs to Sing

Along with a close friend within the Church at St Matthew’s Brad writes theme songs for the holiday programmes. So far have come “Swing into Jesus” for the Jungle juice KidZ HolZ, “Deep as the ocean” for the Atlantis KidZ HolZ, and “Whoo Whoo Chugga Chugga” for the Chuggersville KidZ HolZ.
