About St Alban's

St Alban's, Tauweru, which celebrated its centenary in April 2005, is 15 km east of Masterton, on the road to Castlepoint.
The church was designed by Frederick de Jersey Clere. It has a finely-proportioned baptistry, nave, choir and polygonal sanctuary. The original plans for St Alban's are held by the Alexander Turnbull Library and can be viewed here.
It meets for Eucharist on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Worship is led by the Rev Merv Jones, and his wife, Lorraine.
